Get to know it
Longlight is the newest of the four: twenty-eight acres of rising ground on the Cotswold edge, where the last hedge gives way to the long view and the light does something different in the evenings — hence the name. The first homes are sited in spring 2027; the orchard, the star deck and the dry-stone walls are going in first, because we start with the land.
Life at Longlight
Every Dreeym community keeps the essentials — The Hearth, a guest suite for family, a workshop, allotments, EV charging — and then adds what the land suggests.
The social heart
The Hearth at Longlight opens with the first homes — flagstone floor, wood stove, and a west window built for the sunset it’s named after.
The grounds
The bones came first: half a mile of dry-stone wall rebuilt by two brothers from Northleach, sixty apple trees, and a hedgerow line that will take ten years to look like it was always there. The homes arrive into a landscape already under way.

The straight answers
The rest — the law, the ledger, the 10% rule — lives in the Open Book.
First homes are sited spring 2027. Reserving now means choosing your plot, your home and your worktops — and a fully refundable reservation until you exchange.
The pitch fee will be £190 a month at opening, CPI-pegged thereafter — in writing before you reserve. Council tax banding is confirmed on siting; our others are Band A.
The covenant is signed before the first home arrives: 55% green, for good. If anything material changes, reservations are refunded in full — also in writing.

Getting here: Off the A429 north of Northleach — the new oak gate by the old milk stand. Hard hats currently optional but stylish.
